The first Oscar de la Renta Spring 2018 bridal collection, designed by Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, delivers an array of sleek, classic wedding dresses with modern floral embroideries and chic styles.
With clean, crisp lines and feminine florals, while tulle and bows, the collection puts a refreshing twist on classic looks. The timeless look shines throughout while varied silhouettes offer a look for every type of bride.
The collection features a chic jumpsuit with a guipure lace bodice and back bow detail are perfect for a classy rooftop affair, while a stunning strapless tulle ball gown with a jasmine overlay elicits visions of a grand garden celebration. An ivory wool tuxedo with a silver sequin corset is a fun, modern alternative too. But we can’t forget the stunningly simple, silk trumpet gown with a deep V-neck and ruffle back detail.
Shoes also walked the line between the house’s vaunted elegance and a welcome modernity. Like the gowns and smart pantsuits on display, styles were crisp and erred on the side of simplicity.
