Night-time lights make women’s beauty shine. The Giorgio Armani Beauty Holiday 2016 collection draws inspiration from Light Painting, a technique well known to photographers that consists of creating luminous drawings using a subtle balance of photographic skill, darkness, and sources of light. Light Painting plays with shadow and light to create a halo of light, a stirring luminous trail, as seen in the Night Light collection.

“Enhance your face, eyes and lips with light. The new Giorgio Armani Holiday 2016 Collection with formulas and shades especially created to maximize your radiance, will bring your glow to a whole new level, whatever the light,” said Linda Cantello, International Make-Up Artist Giorgio Armani.

A nod to said halo of light, the collection’s bold and glamorous beauty look places a bright focus on the eyes.

At the heart of this holiday collection, the Holiday Palette features eyeshadows and blushes, six new Ecstasy Lacquer lip shades, and a new “glow” version of Crema Nuda to enhance the complexion. Light painting is a photographic technique in which long-exposure photographs are taken in a dark environment while moving a light source or while moving the camera itself.

The oversized Holiday Palette boasts a sublime black lacquer case adorned with a light-painted version of the Armani signature. The case has two tiers: one for eye makeup and one for a natural and sophisticated complexion. The Ecstasy Lacquer line is enriched with six sensual shades to celebrate the holiday season. A subtle range of nudes, warm pinks, reds, and browns. Six new emotions that enhance the lips and flatter all skin tones. Crema Nuda boasts a cutting-edge formulation made with the precious rejuvenating elixir Reviscentalis™, mannose and hyaluronic acid to boost radiance, blur imperfections, moisturize and illuminate the complexion for an immediate healthy glow.
