This season’s Maje 2016 Fall collection shows the story of Simone de Beauvoir, Françoise Hardy, Juliette Gréco or Jane Birkin. A story that begins in Paris, or more accurately on the Left Bank, at the Café de Flore, near the Luxembourg Gardens, or perhaps the Palais Royal.

It’s the story of a girl who likes to dress as she pleases and above all like no one else. Mixing her English detective’s coat with slip dresses, belting her fringed coat over a lace top, wearing a cape to give her inspiration, reinventing rock history with a buttoned mini skirt, pinching her boyfriend’s beige suede bomber jacket… And taking her M bag with her wherever she goes, the only thing that she never forgets.

It’s the Maje winter story photographed by Tyrone Lebon starring Imaan Hammam, a Dutch model who has that gentle insolence in her eyes that makes her a “Parisian” too.
