The Chanel Coco Chain eyewear selection presents four new frames for sunglasses and three for opticals as the collection revisits the iconic metal chain interlaced with leather and its timeless yet rock chic allure.

The chain – in gold, silver or ruthenium metal – comes in single or multiple rows on the temples of the sunglasses. The pilot frame is supported by a single row of links. On the cat eye and square frames, the chain embellishes the temples in two rows, increasing to three on a XXL frame. While the pilot form is featured in leather, the other models are encircled with acetate and a metal insert.

Three designs make up the optical line with the same hues and finishes as the sunglasses, featuring a square, rectangular and pantos shape.

All of the frames are punctuated with the ultimate detail: a discrete double C, placed on the chain, tone-on-tone. A truly feminine signature, timeless and universally chic.

The colour palette showcases classic blue as it leans to violet, petrol and navy, meanwhile brown adopts nuances of tobacco or tortoiseshell. The range also includes the iconic black, white, burgundy and beige tones of the House. The lenses, matching the frames, play with mirrored or gradated effects.

The Chanel Coco Chain eyewear collection will be available in boutiques from September 2016.
