Revel in the Splendor of Life with the Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2016 ad campaign extending the concept that celebrates an inherently Italian activity. While depicting the joie-de-vivre and playfulness central the the House today, lo splendore della vita also marries with the timeless values of founder Salvatore Ferragamo, as he dedicated himself to the pursuit of luxury living.

The campaign imagery, shot by acclaimed photographer Craig McDean, starring Ine Neefs, Valery Kaufman, Ming Xi, James Rousseau captures the spirit of today’s cultivated globe traveller, in his or her won leisure quest for pleasure and contentment.

The concept is brought to life in a short film, directed by Theo Stanley, as the characters engage in a light-hearted game of hide-and-seek in the countryside , capturing the mix of heritage and modernity central to Ferragamo’s creative practice. Filmed inside a dreamy Italian villa, the short captures the essence of the Fall 2016 collection—equal parts playful and polished.

The lush garden appears as a backdrop to the models sporting black and white checkered jackets or colorful pleated dresses. The ads feature the brand’s core accessories: Classic Vara pumps and Harlequin Gancio handbags or furry totes.
