Chloé creative director Clare Waight Keller takes over Apple Music’s fashion curator platform for the month of July. Equally inspired by music greats as she is captivated by the young talent of today, Clare has curated three playlists that reflect Chloé’s carefree optimism and appreciation of girl power. Riffing on the themes of summer festivals, road trips, and the Maison’s stable of talented #chloeGIRLS, her eclectic mixes cover everything from Brit pop to folk rock, reggae and new indie pop.

“Our Chloé girls represent the types of talented, independent women I respect from different generations all over the world. From Marianne Faithful to Christine and the Queens, they share our timeless values of carefree optimism, like a musical sisterhood.”

She dreamt up three distinct playlists, each targeted to a different aspect of the Chloé spirit. “On the Road” is a rambling journey through Waight Keller’s own musical history, ranging from Led Zeppelin to Amy Winehouse. Then comes “#chloeGIRLS,” an all-female list that includes the ladies the designer loves to dress. Finally, there’s “Festivals,” exactly the stream of vibrant, eclectic jams to carry you through summer, Radiohead to Bat for Lashes.

“There is nothing better than getting behind the wheel to escape from the city, with nothing but the open road in front of me and the sounds of some classic Fleetwood Mac or The Dandy Warhols over the airwaves. Even though I love to visit familiar places and faces, I think the best road trips are when you throw caution to the wind and discover something new along the way.”
