In the Gucci Fall 2016 ad campaign, wandering from tea houses to pachinko parlors with carefree abandon, the Gucci kids collide with the chaotic lights and sounds of Tokyo. The psychedelic scenography is echoed in the energy and decoration in Alessandro Michele’s collection.

Glen Luchford captures rising stars of the modeling world including Petra Collins, Lia Pavolova, Mae Lapres, Sofia Friesen and Yan Kumra in the colorful advertisements.

In one image, a plush pink fur coat competes for attention with cherry blossoms while a tuxedoed homme dances about, boombox in tow. Meanwhile in another, graphic black and white shoes step all over a motorcycle. Basically, Michele has created a visually stimulating world that we’d all like to live in.

The images are cinematic with styling by Joe McKenna, embracing creative director Alessandro Michele’s bold vision. Gucci also unveiled the official campaign video featuring captions like “no need to worry” and “looks like you’re lucky”.
