Backstage was buzzing on Valentine’s Day at the Diane Von Furstenberg Fall 2016 runway show, with all our favorite girls posing and playing between visits from Cupid, who offered them love notes (in chocolate!).

Designer Diane’s new collection was designed with the idea of dance as a strong motif throughout, and it’s clear to see the supermodel beauties took to the theme as they danced their way through the unique event.

They invited friends into the House of DVF to experience the Fall Collection as a series of model-filled vignettes that moved through our Meatpacking District headquarters.

It was an evening of real girls in real clothes. Yes, they’re down-to-earth girls who also go to Oscar parties, but at their core they are just extraordinarily beautiful and vibrant sisters, daughters, girlfriends, mothers, entrepreneurs and role models. And that’s why, as always, Diane encouraged them to be themselves as they moved and interacted around walls with the mantras “you be you” and “if you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt.”
