For the Manoush Spring 2016 collection, designer Frederique Trou-Roy casts her signature gypsy heroine through a hippie-chic lens. Channelling London fashion in the ’70s, she draws inspiration from icons of the time: the famous Thea Porter, the it-girl and creator of boho-chic style, and Ossie Clark stylist, known for her long, flowing robes .
The collection features denim skirts in psychedelic prints mismatch with crocheted knits, pop Art florals brandish short swing coats, and flares are envisioned for the modern day with embroidery and cropped hemlines. Elsewhere, vintage tees tap into the disco spirit as they layer with sequined skirts for a surprising day-to-night look.
Packed with psychedelic and floral prints and pops color, the brand’s Spring 2016 ad campaign stars Poppy Delevingne.
Photographed by Théo Wenner, the campaign features the Brigitte Bardo-style model as the face of the brand for the third consecutive year, posing in Pierre Cardin’s legendary bubble luxury hotel, Le Palais Bulle in Nice.
