To celebrate the 85th anniversary of the iconic Reverso, Jaeger-LeCoultre has teamed up with an artisan who has elevated the shoe to an art form.

To celebrate this milestone on a high note, the Jaeger-LeCoultre icon appears arrayed in brand-new, festive garments born of an encounter between the Manufacture and Christian Louboutin. The designer’s rich and original perspective reveals unexpected facets of the Reverso.

These two apparently very separate worlds, in truth share the same vision of excellence founded on the precision and virtuosity of their craftsmanship, along with a taste for fashioning materials, constant attention to detail, and a quest for perfect balance. The collaboration between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Christian Louboutin is also rooted in sharing creative approaches, and a sense of openness that offers new perspectives on the world.

Christian Louboutin combines colors and materials with an artist’s instinctive flair and sees immediately if the result is right. Just as bright, vibrant, iridescent, and shimmering colors are juxtaposed in his creations, the latter also showcases the intersection of different worlds: covered galleries of Paris, carved wood lattice work of North Africa, oriental stones, to name a few. For certain models, the designer has also drawn his inspiration from the universe of his shoe collections. Each Jaeger-LeCoultre x Christian Louboutin Reverso timepiece reveals an unexpected aspect of the watch that plays with classical design codes while respecting its identity.

Available in two sizes, the Reverso Classic Duetto, chosen for this transformation, retains its emblematic face on the front, with pure, classical Art Deco lines, while the back, framed by two rows of diamonds on either side of the dial, takes on a delightfully crazy touch infused by Christian Louboutin.
