Releasing the Céline Resort 2016 campaign, the French fashion label goes in a minimal direction with these black and white portraits. Models Agnes Nieske and Mathilde Brandi pose for photographer Zoë Ghertnerin in the new advertisements.
Multiple images show models lounging on couches while others have them posing against a blank wall. Bold stripes and high-waisted pants are key to the resort season. Another image focuses on the Céline cuff shoe with a chunky heel.
The campaign showcased some new statement pieces including a modern zebra-printed dress, a vintage-looking striped button up romper, and long, straight-legged parachute pants that flow all the way down to the floor. Topping it all off with leather pumps, Céline is able to mix classic and modern to create the sleek looks.
In October, Céline Creative Director Phoebe Philo showed her vision for Spring 2016 including menswear inspired separates with feminine details.
