For her third season as the French brand’s ambassadress, Peter Lindbergh shot actress Michelle Williams with the Louis Vuitton Capucines bag in new shades.
Michelle Williams, who recently starred on Broadway in the acclaimed revival of the musical “Cabaret”, codirected by Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall, was shot by Peter Lindbergh in a series of images revealing an intriguing balance of force and fragility that makes her personality so compelling. The 34 year old American actress perfectly embodies the refinement of Capucines. The ever stylish and timeless handbag wears new colors dedicated to the warm season.
The campaign spotlights emblematic Louis Vuitton bags, among them the iconic Louis Vuitton Capucines in new shades: sky blue Outremer, soft pink Magnolia and dark blue Cobalt.
The images show Williams clad in a structured black coat, strategically held in places to add subtle oomph. The lust-worthy bag is seen in the signature black shade along with pink and red editions too that inject color in the images.
Facing the lens for German photographer and filmmaker, the sultry actress’ hair has been styled by Sam McKnight and makeup has been taken care by Angela Levin.
