Launching its Fall 2014 ad campaign, jewelry label Monique Péan enlists Liya Kebede to be the face of its new collection entitled Lahnse. The Ethiopian model was photographed by Ryan McGinley in Iceland where she is pictured wearing cozy sweaters and furry shrugs to go with the label’s dazzling accessories. The images were made with creative direction by Frame Work and styling by Sissy Vian. For beauty, Holli Smith worked on hair with makeup by Fulvia Farolfi.

For the ad campaign of this new line, the brand taps into different destinations to source for materials and uses rugged landscapes as inspiration for the geometric shapes of the pieces in the collection as well as the inspiration for the campaign pictures. The location is the black sand and rock formations at Iceland’s Vík Í Myrdal beach as Liya Kebede poses gently in the serene natural environment.
