The Sandro Fall 2014 ad campaign features a series of portraits capturing two young artists in their element. The images sway between melancholia and romanticism, creating a fantasized vision of Lucian Freud and his muse lounging in the atelier of Francis bacon. With their carefree elegance, the silhouettes evocate an understated style, creating a cool and chic allure. The images portray a woman clad in an oversize coat, a simple T-shirt, skinny pants and mannish shoes. The man is wearing adouble-breasted long coat, a checked shirt, high-waisted panta and laceless derby shoes.

The intent of the campaign is to “recreate the fantastic vision of Lucian Freud and his muse in Francis Bacon’s atelier,” explained the brand.

Under the lens of Karim Sadli, Edie Campbell is once again the face of Sandro for their third collaboration. Over the past seasons, the model, the photographer and the brand have developed a deep relationship that brings an intimate dimension to the images. Elliott Vulliod embodies the Sandro man for the second season.
