The Carolina Herrera Fall 2014 ad campaign takes model, Bette Franke, from Archive — a season and collection based on lightness and fun – into the rich mirrored world of Fall. She embodies once again the whimsy and dynamism defined by Carolina Herrera’s design ethos. The mirrored environment accentuates the movement and refinement of the clothes, and with a touch of trompe l’oeil, the model is captured in multiple looks in what should be a pure reflection of oneself. Embodying the playful femininity synonymous with the House, Bette presents the clothes as they should be – juxtaposing daywear and evening, varying textures, proportions within the surreal effect of image replication.
The viewer is transported into the campaign shoot, onto New York’s Milk studio set to experience first hand the energy, the fun and ultimately what it looks and feels like to move with ease in the Carolina Herrera clothes.
