Lanvin’s creative director, Alber Elbaz, is known for his beautiful and intricate designs, which prevail throughout this innovative bridal collection.
Introducing the Lanvin Blanche 2014, a collection of 15 couture wedding gowns with a selection of graceful long gowns in ivory. Whimsical and playful, and intended to satisfy a wide variety of tastes, featured styles include a long gown in ivory pleated taffeta, an unconventional T-shirt dress, a bubble hem dress and a tongue-in-cheek riff on a high school prom dress in pinkish-beige duchess satin. Rounding out the collection, meanwhile, are designs like a Greek vestal with bare shoulders and a colored crystal collar, a ballerina-like pleated lace dress, and my personal favorite — a head-turning long skirt worn over a slant-cut neoprene swimsuit that’s perfect for the athlete bride, and anything but traditional.
Available at selected Lanvin boutiques internationally.
