The Armani Group released details about the new luxury residential units for its latest project, Century Spire, in a partnership with real estate developer Century Properties, says WWD.

First announced in November, the Makati, Philippines-based, Armani-designed residences, common areas and amenities within the Century Spire building, conceived by Studio Daniel Libeskind, are expected to be completed in Manila at the end of 2018.

“I am very happy with this collaboration, and I think that the combination of my vision with that of Daniel Libeskind will lead to the creation of a truly special place, characterised by elegance and a unique charm,” said Giorgio Armani, president and chief executive officer of the namesake group.

For the project, Armani referenced the bold design of the 60-floor tower, marked by a peak that seems to open up into a blossom, and the lines of the façade. Century Spire comprises more than 500 residential units divided into eight different types, from suites to penthouses, with the most prestigious on the top floors. Each type of apartment has a different palette ranging from silver-grey and blue to amber, jade green and pale gold. Precious materials include onyx, white-gold leaf and rosewood alternating with wood and wallpaper made of natural fibers. Golden beiges, warm greys and muted greens are used in the common areas and amenities, which include the grand lobby, library, swimming pool with juice bar and relaxation area, as well as the spa, gym, and fitness areas.

Some of the Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio’s most recent projects include the Maçka Residences in Istanbul and The World Towers in Mumbai.
