The Karl Lagerfeld brand is to open its first womenswear and accessories store in Istanbul, Turkey this month. The 860 square-foot boutique, in Istanbul’s Nisantasi neighborhood, will open its doors on January 23rd.
It is to be the first of several locations for the brand to open in Turkey this year and follows the 2013 inaugurations of concept stores in cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Munich, Shanghai and Beijing.
The store, operated in partnership with Turkish luxury brand distributor Demsa Group, is situated in the courtyard of multi-brand concept store Brandroom, also operated by Demsa, which manages labels like Harvey Nichols, Tom Ford and Lanvin in Turkey.
The modernist black-and-white space, with mirrors and walls of light, will have digital features like iPads and photobooths in its fitting rooms.
It is to offer the Karl Lagerfeld leather goods, watches, eyewear and scarves selection alongside ready-to-wear and footwear collections.
