The luxury label is poised to open the Louis Vuitton Archlight women’s sneaker pop up boutique. Several styles will be on offer several styles in the temporary NYC outlet, including an exclusive all-black colorway.

French luxury label Louis Vuitton is dedicating an entire store to its new Archlight women’s sneaker, first revealed on the luxury label’s spring 2018 runway. Louis Vuitton describes the Archlight as “a futuristic sneaker that balances a springy wave-shaped outsole and an oversized tongue with a low cut around the ankle for a delicate, feminine touch.”

Located at 122 Greene Street, in the heart of the SoHo district, the pop-up store will be home to the new sneaker models, designed by Nicolas Ghesquière. This particular LV creation certainly didn’t go unnoticed, contrasting with the rest of the collection and its sophisticated jackets and dresses inspired by the 18th century.

Louis Vuitton creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, explains that these sneakers are inspired by nineties basketball shoes, while also encompassing a futuristic design with chunky soles and a large tongue. The models featured on the label’s website combine calfskin with technical materials and a rubber sole.

Timed in sync with the kick off of New York Fashion Week, the store will open on February 8th until March 10th.
