A touch of neon electrifies the new Burberry campaign for Spring.

December 27, 2017

For the Burberry Spring 2018 ad campaign, the British brand tapped German photographer Juergen Teller for a new photo project. The collaboration features model Adwoa Aboah in a series candid images captured in North London. The British model joins her cousins Alfie Husband, George Husband, Richard Theodore-Aboah and Kwame N’Dow. Friends Montell Martin and Mae Muller also appear in the campaign images.

The 25-year-old Brit worked with Teller on casting talent, finding a location, and choosing the aesthetic of the shoot.

“It has been a huge honor for me to work with Burberry and Juergen Teller on this inspiring project. My role as both model and artistic director is one I have really enjoyed and embraced. Christopher Bailey is an incredible visionary and it has been an amazing experience to work together with him and Juergen to create this series of stories,” said Adwoa Aboah.

The result was a project literally close to home for the model, who chose to pose with her friends and family members along Regent’s Canal in North London. Together, they sport some of key pieces with Burberry’s signature plaid in the form of scarves, bags, trench coats, and more.
