The Wakeley Woman is inspired by travels to Japan bringing new the shapes, features and colours in the Amanda Wakeley Fall 2017 collection where geometric prints play against elegant silhouettes. This season the bold geometric prints and colours come across in trousers and knitwear and dresses and jumpsuits in luxurious satin.

“Every piece is a statement piece,” said designer Wakeley of her Far East-glam collection.

Phoebe Collings-James and Aimee Song were carefully selected to be aspirational, stylish and have interesting personal stories. The women, composed individually and as a duo to conjure that emotive powerful scene of like-minded women, sharing a meaningful moment together.

A graphic print of degraded chevrons forms easy day pieces. Mixed back with knife pleating it provides her with the perfect statement top whilst a kimono inspired wrap dress becomes this season’s perfect throw on dress. A cropped gilet has added warmth and richness with a Mongolian lamb collar, layered over seasonal knitwear and a sculpted satin skirt.

Her seasonal tailoring becomes more relaxed and takes the form of this season’s key pant silhouettes in midnight or alabaster. She wears a wide leg statement style with wide turn up or a relaxed straight leg, each trimmed with contrasting satin grosgrain ribbon.

Techno satin in black, bonsai and ecru adds a touch of contemporary luxe to day and evening pieces, this jumpsuit in Bonsai green makes the ultimate evening statement. Delicate oriental inspired lace is layered in with silk tulle for a fluid and ethereal look in this exquisite evening gown.
