A cross-category collection of women’s and men’s shoes, as well as leather goods, each style in the capsule is lovingly printed or embellished with the designer’s iconic signature, as well as characters and messages that epitomize his and the collection’s spirit.

Whether hosted in Tokyo, New York, Berlin or Dubai, Christian Louboutin’s personal appearances have a reputation for being fun and utterly unforgettable. He takes the task at hand seriously, chatting- and charming – clients before he then personalizes their pieces with not only his signature, but playful doodles, lucky charms and even secret notes that reference the connection forged in their conversation. Here, the designer expresses himself in silk and patent, nylon and grain-embossed leather, as Loubitag comes to life on audacious over-the-knee boot Moulin Noir, which fits close to the skin for a tattoo-like effect. Taking altitude, the print adorns white or black patent leather editions of So Kate, and sensually embraces the leg via a silk scarf ankle­ wrap on open-toe pump Jersey Vamp and pointed-toe flat Lahore. The Louis sneaker, a classic and much-loved men’s sneaker, likewise gets the Loubitag treatment in black or white patent leathers.

Leather goods in the collection provide the perfect canvas, with Loubitag evoked in intricate beading on both Paloma Clutch and the versatile Cabata tote for her, as well as the Spring 2018’s new spiked Sky Pouch and Backloubi backpack for him, recalling the mischievous years of a young student.
