The Parisian designer goes full gusto on the 80’s this winter with fun, Boho, oversized and chic with the use of creative fabrics and a distinctive use of belts and high boots. Floral prints are spotlighted with cinched and plissé patterned dresses with wide black leather belts and frilly leather dickies. Crystal-studded jeans, leopard-print dresses and glitter boots accentuated seductiveness of the collection. Isabel Marant embraced the idea of midi-length dresses which she proposed with romantic flare of floral prints and gave a bit edgier and sexier note to the complete look with thigh-high boots. According to this collection plissé is the fabric for winter and layers can be sexy.

Pants carried a lean line with some skinny styles in the mix, including a cocktail hour-worthy pair worn by Gigi Hadid that was studded with crystals. Marant was just as committed to making baggy pants alluring. Her slouchy trousers came with plenty of swagger as Lineisy Montero looked part femme fatale, part tomboy with her waist-whittling double-breasted blazer tucked into pleated high-waisted pants.

With a cast of models that included gorgeous ’90s veterans such as Amber Valletta and Carolyn Murphy, Marant proved that her trademark cool aesthetic works just as well for grown-ups. Marant wanted every look to have the ease of a comforter with each woman on the runway feeling good in their own skin and their outfit, regardless of their age.
