Bella Hadid rocks out in a retro campaign for Nars
For the NARS Fall 2017 Color Collection campaign image, François Nars chose to photograph Bella Hadid and Justin Gossman.
“François has such beautiful energy. He’s taken so many iconic photographs, so for me to have the opportunity to work with him was a dream come true,” said Hadid on working with the Founder of NARS Cosmetics.
Inspired by the 1970’s Rock and Roll era, the image portrays the idea of bold fearlessness with an edge.
“For me, choosing a model is a part of the making of cosmetics; it’s part of the creative process. The model brings the product to life and gives it an identity, so matching the right model with a product is very important. I love Bella. She has a very strong and powerful look,” said François Nars, Founder and Creative Director.
The campaign spotlights the new shine-free, long-wear liquid is available in 20 shades ranging from natural nude-y pink to dramatic ebony.
