After debuting a Fall collection inspired by the modern business woman, Céline now unveils an equally refined 2017 Pre-Fall collection.
While still maintaining an air of formality and professionalism, the new pieces also infuse elements of playfulness into the designs.
The collection features floor-length kilts along with fluted, high-waisted dresses over flared trousers, and fluid midis over narrow pants and includes a pair of chevron pants bringing dynamism to the lineup and a bold tailored vision. Phoebe Philo also throws in a brown shearling bathrobe-esque jacket and a millennial pink long-sleeve frock. According to the Pre-Fall collection, the designer strives for the comfort of women: loose shirts, dresses, midi-skirts, wide pants and trench coats with a high collar.
As brand launch their collection this month, Phoebe Philo completely withdraws from speaking about her work at Céline. Meanwhile, these clothes were viewed earlier in the year at Céline’s headquarters at the Rue Vivienne in Paris.
