The Cartier La Panthère Eau de Parfum is a captivating perfume that reflects a liberated, passionate woman. La Panthère was also the nickname of Cartier’s lover and muse Jeanne Toussaint. A feline floral fragrance born out of radiant, delicate gardenia coming together with velvety notes of musk. Within the flask, a sculpture depicts the majestic, fascinating panther.

“Every woman has a feline side and every flower has a hidden animal essence” Mathilde Laurent, In-house Perfumer, Maison Cartier Mathilde Laurent offers a unique new accord, combining a flower and a sensation: a feline floral fragrance.

To express femininity, she chose to explore the glory of a radiant gardenia, sensual yet delicate. For an animal touch, she created a soft velvety musk. The top of the composition exudes greenish – fruity mixture in the form of molecule styrallyl acetates, containing nuances of rhubarb, strawberries, dried fruit, apple and apricot. The heart is dominated by gardenia, selected as the main flower to avoid excessive oriental character and also as not so common ingredient amongst modern perfumes. Ketone musk and oak moss provide irrefutable chypre character

Within the flask, an internal sculpture depicts the majestic, fascinating panther. The simple luxurious bottle of golden colors shows stylized face of panther, which gives the entire design a special signature and character.
