Fresh off of opening his Haute Couture show in January, Bella Hadid stars in Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 lookbook. The designer had parlayed the ideas developed for couture into ready-to-wear, modifying the details in order to scale up the production.

Alexandre Vauthier spotlights ’80s-inspired silhouettes ranging from embellished sleeves and slim-fit silhouettes.

The one-shoulder numbers featured sequins instead of Swarovski crystals, and the embellished motocross sweater with mohair and crystals was pared-down color-blocked hoodie. The electric blue leather jacket could be worn with ripped jeans for that quintessential off-duty-model look. The spotlight however is on the down-filled black velvet coat.

From tailored tweed coats to sleeveless mini dresses and sporty zip-up jackets, the fall collection serves up a cool yet sexy aesthetic combining a little femme fatale with a lot of comfy.
