The Alexander Mcqueen Spring 2017 ad campaign is set amongst the beauty of the infinite sand dunes next to the sea. Working with Jamie Hawkesworth for a consecutive season, model Vittoria Ceretti is photographed in the changing light of the landscape; she appears dreamlike, sensual with an effortless simplicity.

Wearing dreamy gowns embellished with lace and leather bustiers, the brunette is a stunning vision and appears dreamlike, sensual with an effortless simplicity.

For the Spring 2017 collection, Sarah Burton’s vision is fresh, light, and modern. Textiles are traditional, yet reimagined. She utilizes an assortment of soft lace, leather, and dark tartan prints: black and gray. Silhouettes are feminine and the collection had a leisurely feel created by the use of RTW lingerie. Garments offer embellishments but still retained a sense of subtlety.

Accessories are studded and hammered creating a vintage Rock and Roll feel. Leather, studded and painted combat boots peak from beneath lace frocks and soft evening wear adding dynamic contrast. Aged silver chokers and ornate hoop earrings add a sense of artisanship long forgotten.
