The Alberta Ferretti 2017 Spring ad campaign celebrates individuality with an energetic series of sexually-charged photographs, the culmination of the new Alberta Ferretti woman. Captured by Steven Meisel, the Italian designer features five top models in five separate portraits. Irina Shayk, Carolyn Murphy, Raquel Zimmermann, Julia Nobis as well as Vittoria Cerretti appear in the dynamic shots.
Full of pulsating rhythm, Raquel twirls the season’s frilled skirt with Flamenca flare, while Carolyn plays with fire and Irina cools off provocatively with an icy-cold drink.
“The summer collection celebrates sensuality,” said Alberta Ferretti in a statement. “The idea was to express that through these photos with a joie de vive and and spontaneous, confident femininity that generates true beauty. The five photos tell the stories of different women, seen together to form one complete and complex woman who is independent and in love. She’s happy to be alive because she lives life to the fullest.”
Styled by Carine Roitfeld, the advertisements feature a 50’s inspired black and white shot with Raquel. Another goes futuristic with bright lights featuring Julia. In each shot, Ferretti’s romantic dressmaking takes the spotlight. Guido Palau worked on hair for the shoot with makeup by Pat McGrath.
