Creative Director Stuart Vevers embarks in a rebellious Coach Resort 2017 ad campaign. The American fashion brand has tapped photgrapher Steven Meisel to shoot on location in Brooklyn, New York. The campaign stars models Rianne van Rompaey, Jing Wen, Roos Abels and Yasmin Wijnaldum with stylist Karl Templer.
A statement of how “anything can happen and you can be anyone,” the campaign is a celebration of this melting pot of individuality.
The Coach Resort 2017 collection is marked by Vevers’ recurring theme of fast cars and open roads. Americana references are signature to the collection creating a mixed aesthetic of sport and refinement. We explore our inner rebel as Vevers transports us back to an era filled with the sounds Rock and Roll, fast cars, and even Felix the Cat.
The collection offers a variety of looks, including sleek dresses, sharp suiting, and Athleisure inspired outerwear. One of the strongest silhouettes of the collection is a hybrid varsity-cum-moto jacket series. The collection of relaxed jackets utilizes different fabrics and color palettes to evoke a style suitable for every occasion. From a strong metallic green bomber jacket accessorized with badges to traditional matte varsity jacket, the Coach woman is redefined . The collection utilizes a layered mix of hard and soft fabrics styled with a relaxed vibe. Masculine leather in key pieces like the essential biker jacket are paired with feminine dresses and high-waisted miniskirts accented with interesting zipper details.
Ververs offers a stylish assortment of rock band inspired t-shirts and accessories printed with automobile motifs, mirrored on matching tote bags. The accessories are all statement makers, including the new Coach Rogue bag, a slim low-profile everyday bag.
