Unveiling a flagship on Madison Avenue, Reiss expands with further openings in North America including Westfield World Trade Center, Toronto and Miami, which follow recent debuts in both Australia and France.

“North America is a key market for us and we are delighted to be further expanding our presence,” said David Reiss, Chairman and CEO of Reiss.

Located on Madison and 54th street, the Reiss Flagship store in New York represents the latest addition to the brand’s growing stable of US stores – and a bespoke architectural concept that plays to the grand scale, dressed-up glamour and business-like cool of the city that never sleeps.

The interior boasts a gallery-like aesthetic with four large installation screens sweeping in from the corners of the space – converging in the centre like a suite of giant standing stones, while both the perimeter windows and glass entrance doors stand impressively at double height.

An ode to minimalist perfectionism, every detail of the décor, from the mannequin plinths to the cash wraps, observe a sense of complete simplicity designed to exude drama at even the smallest brand touch-points. Luxurious but monumental materials including marble, shaved granite and steel in rich shades of grey compound the sense of timeless, bigger-than-the-moment style.

With the monumental gallery installations of Madison Avenue, every contour, piece of furniture and finishing detail pays homage to the brand’s product-first ethos and tailoring based roots – requiring spatial engineering in sleek, ultra-tactile materials that define a future-facing flair.
