Jeremy Scott is proud to call LA home and has thus staged the Moschino Resort 2017 runway show in the city of angels.
Staged in an exotic garden wonderland, Scott’s Moschino Spring Menswear and Resort Womenswear vision is a vibrant outburst of narratives: spot the hand-applied Shisha-inspired mirror adornment, holographic floral appliqués, Sangallo embroideries, hyper-color crochet work, high-impact fine-gauge fringed knits, troupe l’oeil mythical print, multi-species animal-pattern mashups, 60’s florals, a punchy tie-dye psychedelia- and some black lace, crochet and embellished leathers creating an LA pop gothic group of girls who are afraid of the sun but bask in all its glory. It’s enough to enchant even the most skeptical of critics. Think high-craft, low-pretension, summer of love, hyper-cute clothes for extremely fabulous stylish individuals.
This Moschino goddess’s silhouette is defined by flared pants, frock coats, bustier tops, cropped half-sleeve bombers, smoking jackets, maxi dressesand pant suits. Her gentleman companion has some serious range too – from precision-fit, can’t-miss-it tailoring, via Scott-trademark hyper-bikers and jeans, to crochet hoodies and flower-power cycling shorts, embroidered and embellished tuxedo jackets with tails not to mention lace double breasted suits.
Take a look through Scott’s kaleidoscope and experience his vision for yourself as he showcases a diverse and colourful Moschino Resort 2017 collection in Los Angeles. Among the top models strutting the catwalk are Alessandra Ambrosio, Presley Gerber, Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn, Devon Aoki, Miranda Kerr, Taylor Hill and more.
