The Gucci Pre-Fall 2016 campaign film, directed by Glen Luchford, takes use inside a glassed aviary, a cast of carefree characters’ roam amongst plants, wandering flamingos and piles of old books. The space reveals the collection’s riot of colors, textures and movement.

Models Lucas Dambrod, Polina Oganicheva, Eva Minaeva, Fionnan Perkins, Lia Pavlova, Anton Toftgard, Elle Van Ravels, Nicole Atieno and Laura Melerh wear whimsical designs including printed pantsuits, pleated skirts and knit sweaters. Adding to the eclectic gathering, a backdrop of colorful blooms and large birds adds to the diverse vibe.

While the backdrop may contain antiques, Michele’s vision is a modern one – something reflected in the house’s Fall 2016 womenswear show which combined the old and the new, such as Snoopy prints, teddy bear graphics and pieces spray-painted by graffiti artist GucciGhost.
