The new Alberta Ferretti Limited-Edition Fall 2016 collection is the spirit of an unpredictable and enigmatic eccentric elegance inspired by the unique icon Marchesa Luisa Casati. The portrait of an original and independent personality.

Alberta Ferretti is taking it to the screens before hitting the runway. The designer made a short film featuring her Fall 2016 collection to share online before it officially makes its debut during Couture Week.

“Today, more than ever, fashion must send messages that are fast, clear, and rapidly accessible to a wider audience, and through the internet, and social networks fashion participates in this global movement that defines taste these days,” Ferretti said in a press release.

The video, shot by Louis & Iango in Venice, reveals the dark side of golden age glamour. The looks—worn by actress and model Malgosia Bela—hit a similar note, with black lace and ’20s silhouettes, but with an exotic tinge seen in metallic zebra print and snake motifs.
