For the Giuseppe Zanotti Spring 2016 collection, the designer casts his eye on California, Los Angeles specifically, merging a confluence of inspirations and themes into and eclectic line-up of shoes, bags and special ready-to-wear pieces.

Sunset drives along the Pacific Coast Highway, chic afternoons on Rodeo Drive and edgy nights on the Sunset Strip are just a few of the starting points of the season, which celebrates the modern rule-breaker in all her varied beauty.

“Freedom, individuality and self-confidence are the driving forces behind the new collection. I wanted to design pieces for a multi-faceted woman – someone who is simultaneously a Rebel and an Angel; edgy but also elegant,” said Zanotti. “Today there are no rules or dictates – the same woman can wear embroidered suede espadrilles one day and 14 inch bi-color metallic platform sandals the next.”

Organized into two distinct but interconnected themes – 66 Sunset and 2nd Floor, respectively – the collection advances Zanotti’s signature motifs in a fresh, contemporary context.
