To celebrate Giorgio Armani‘s 40th anniversary, the fashion house has dedicated this entire year to commemorate the legacy of the this design icon. Bringing the cream-of-the-crop of Hollywood to Milan for a major party on April 30th, resulted in an exclusive evening divided into three stages. The opening of the new exhibition space Armani/Silos, a fashion show showcasing the most memorable collections of Giorgio Armani Privé and a cocktail party. The attendees included the world’s most renowned faces such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Cate Blanchett, Hilary Swank, Pierce Brosnan, Glenn Close, Sofia Loren and Lauren Hutton. Today the festivities continue with a capsule collection of T-shirts, exclusive to the gift shop of the newly inaugurated Armani/Silos exhibition space.
The unisex Giorgio Armani T-shirt capsule collection is decorated with a special Armani/Silos logo and available in five different prints. One features a black-and- white photo of a tuxedo-clad Armani from the Eighties, while the others are printed with covers of four archival issues of Emporio Armani Magazine. Available in white, blue or black, they retail for $78.50.
