Just imagine David Bowie and Andy Warhol thrown in a cyber-kaleidoscopic future made of palms, cocktails and convertibles: MashTru.

The four centerpieces of the Tru Trussardi MashTru Spring 2015 collection – lace, bright-coloured electric blue and flame-red leather; Hawaiian prints and palm tree leaves mixed with the maison’s premium neckwear and the marbled denim with hand-applied tempera – all of these are combined in an ipnotic collage by Luca Mainini.

MashTru takes a look at the many moments and epochs of Trussardi with the attitude of Tru Trussardi, the most playful, creative and fashion-forward soul of the brand’s lines.

Three “C’s” with attitude and irony define the Tru Trussardi woman for Spring 2015: candy – cyber – chic.  Silhouettes are relaxed, feminine yet hip: elegant short skirts are worn with bomber jackets cinched at the waist and loose cropped jackets with three-quarter sleeves; lace is used as a geometric insert, and the new water-resistant duster coat is a star. Candy colors and sorbet nuances are paired up with metallic details and vibrant hues such as electric blue and fire engine red.

Stripes, geometric cuts and layered lines characterize futuristic looks: A-line mini-dresses with Lurex inserts, biker jackets, and all-leather outfits are delightful with their unconventional sleek patchwork motifs made of different leathers.  Lightness is the buzzword for the silk jumpsuit, the palm leaf print on leather and crisp cotton, and vintage-look denim with lace patchwork appliqués on a marbleized background.
