L’Occitane’s Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc, the new singular and velvety fragrance from La Collection de Grasse, is evocative of a halo of iridescent powder on a cheek flushed by the chill of morning. A flower emblematic of Grasse perfumery, the iris lends its subtle yet distinctive presence to the new fragrance.

The fragrance is a contrasting flower-to-flower encounter that follows the path of the sun. It opens its petals onto the green, fruity notes of blackcurrant and citrus. The floral heart of Grasse iris, subtly spiced with ylang-ylang, floats to the zenith after caressing the velvety skin of white peaches. In the trail of Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc, a white musk delights in the hot/cold contrast of the twin flowers and gives the last word to powdery accords of iris and the dry scent of cedar.

This magnificent composition brings together the most beautiful species of iris: Iris pallida, the blue iris and Iris florentina, the white iris. The blue iris pallida used in this scent has been grown in Grasse region, specially for L’Occitane. With its rich, velvety notes, it shapes the fragrance. A white iris florentina, chosen in its native Mediterranean lands, lights up the precious iris pallida, enveloping it in a luminous transparency.

The Iris bleu & Iris Blanc collection includes an Eau de Toilette, Body Milk, Shower Gel, Hand Cream and Perfumed Soap and will be joining the Collection to Grasse in time for Mother’s Day in of May 2015 and will be available at all L’Occitane boutiques.
