Touched by the nomadic tribes of central Asia, and cut with the cool of 70s rock, the Emilio Pucci Fall 2014 collection is a pulsing odyssey wrapped in new flavors.
Freshly charged, the primitive, hand-craft element of the mountains is kicked into high gear with the energy of active sport. Young, fresh and frenetic, traditional Pucci patterns are refracted with intricate tapestry and watery Ikat motifs. Quilting and ornate embroidery techniques bring a rich, 3-D component to surfaces, creating multiple layers of pattern on velvet, metallic jaquards or double faced wools. Printed borders and trims are both Folkloric and Pucci-esque in spirit. The ethnic vibe is washed over with an urban mood.
