Among all the aromatic herbs that grow along the paths of Provence, there is one whose lemony freshness revives the body and mind. Its name is Verbena. When baskets are piled high with freshly harvested green verbena leaves, its distinctive fragrance fills the air around the markets of Provence.
Frisson de Verveine, the new unisex limited-edition summer fragrance from L’Occitane, is both invigorating and soothing. Take from the aqueous citrus family the fragrance contains a refreshing blend of citruses, bergamot, lemon verbena and cucumber, resting on precious wood and musk. The glass bottle is tinted with shades of green that become deeper as they get closer to the base. The box is decorated with verbena leaves streaked with silver, drifting on the surface of the rivers that carry them to the distillery.
Each product in the collection contains an organic extract of Verbena from Provence. Notes of citrus fruits, freshly cut green leaves and water fruits delicately blend together in rippling waves of freshness. The collection also includes a fresh shower gel, cooling body gel, refreshing body mist, bath slats, ice gel for lags and feet and hand cream gel.
The collection ranges in price $12 to $54 and will be available in all L’Occitane boutiques in August 2014.
