The innovation brand Maison Margiela has created a replication of scents that speak to everyone, instantly evoking images and positive emotions echo our own personal history. The ‘Replica’ perfume collection captures the olfactory moments essential to memories.
The first three Maison Margiela Replica fragrances resonate with the scents of a sun drenched breach in Calvi, candy at a funfair evening in Santa Monica and freshly cut flowers in Parisian flower Market.
With these three new creations, Lazy Sunday Morning, Promenade in the Gardens and Jazz Club, the Maison has created the first male fragrance.
Recollection of silky skin, crumpled linen sheets and the reassuring scent of fresh laundry. With Lazy Sunday Morning, time stands still, leaving only memories and sensations. The romanticism of British gardens, where wanderers can lose themselves in the fresh green glades, or come around the organised chaos of an outcrop to find themselves suddenly surrounded by floral notes depicted in Promenade in the Gardens. For Jazz Club, the tradition has been immortalized through the generations, handing down the address of this Brooklyn jazz club. An anthology of classic notes and coppery tones, between deep armchairs and a handful of bar stools, with subdued lighting reflected on the piano where some cocktails linger, wafting their liquory notes.
