Raf Simons has followed in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld, Carine Roitfeld and Valentino by inviting a film crew into the Christian Dior atelier to follow to creation of his debut couture collection for the storied French fashion house.

Entitled Dior et Moi and directed by Frédéric Tcheng (who also worked on Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel and Valentino: The Last Emperor), the film will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the extremely short, eight-week period (as opposed to the usual four to five months), Raf Simons and his group of collaborators had, after replacing John Galliano, to produce his first collection for Dior which walked down the runway in 2012.

The documentary is set to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 17th as part of World Documentary competition.
